A workshop that became a company.
Markvinia d.o.o. was founded in 2001 as the continuation of a family workshop established in 1964. Today the company employs nineteen people and works from a striking 7,000 m² site in the northern part of Biograd na Moru, close to the town cemetery.
On this site sit the production and storage space and the showroom and sales space.
The company's core work is the production, sale and installationof products in stone, granite and marble. In its own workshops, on specialised machinery, the company is equipped to carry out the working and sawing of stone blocks, the cutting of stone slabs and polishing.
Sixty years of working stone show today in every detail of the yard: in the rows of slabs ready for the cut, in the showroom where samples are compared under natural light, in the workshop where nineteen staff shape, day after day, a new generation of memorials and interiors.
