Grave surrounds take in every stage of the stonemason's work: preparing the foundations, laying the slabs, making the memorial, fitting the appliqués and the finishing work. Most of our graves are made in granite, because its resistance to the weather and its low water absorption (under one per cent) keep the look of an outdoor memorial the longest.
For families who want a warmer tone we combine granite with details inmarble or travertine. Frames, crosses, vases and appliqués are made in contrast or in the same stone as the base slab. Every memorial begins from a sketch we refine together before fabrication starts, a conversation about material, form and dimensions.
